Question: who certified this as ffp2 ?
Answer: Yes these were certified by a member of the British Standards Institute (BSI) Group in the Netherlands.

Question: This mask does not have the padding around the nose to make a better seal (l3m does)- why?
Answer: It has a wire in the mask that helps pinch it closer to the nose.

Question: Are these genuine?
Answer: These are high quality masks, similar in design to the 3M 9320, which I have used previously. These have good breathability as well.

Question: Are these masks re-usable? How long do they typically last?
Answer: The code ‘NR’ after the FFP2 certification code means ‘Non-Reusable’. This actually means they should be used for no more than 8 hours. This could be 8 hours non-stop or 8 x 1 hour sessions for example. Obviously, the more times you use them, the more chance there is of contamination inside.

Question: are these now fold like on the picture – flat?
Answer: Yes they fold flat.
