Question: Does it actually measure a persons temp at 98.6? I have yet to find one that does.
Answer: NO thermometer measures 98.6… usually. Everyone in my family has a different “normal” as does most of the population. My “normal” is 97.8 so I technically have a “Covid fever” at 99.6, not 100.4.. thats what my doctor said when I had Covid.
Question: Can this particular thermometer be used to take your temperature on your wrist?
Answer: I think it is ok. Keep the right distance. We all do like this in our country to check temperature.
Question: If someone is in menopause (hot flashes), will this show that they have a fever?
Answer: To the best of my knowledge, menopausal hot flashes do not cause your temperature to rise. I personally took my own temperature during a hot flash and it was normal.
Question: will this work for cats?
Answer: This will work on anything.
Question: At what temp does the color change to yellow and then red? Is this number adjustable?
Answer: From 93.2-99.4 is Green， 99.4-100.3 is Orange，100.4-109.2 is Red under body mode（a baby face on the screen）
The number is not adustable.
